Things to do in Goodyear

Goodyear, Arizona was named for Goodyear tires! As silly as that may sound, this booming town in the southeast valley of Phoenix is growing as of 2019. The Goodyear Baseball Complex hosts the Cleveland Indians and the Cincinnati Reds for spring training. Goodyear is also home to a huge 55+ adult community called Pebble Creek and another huge community called Estrella Mountain Ranch, which is nestled into the Estrella Mountains.

Goodyear has a lot of great parks and is booming with new companies investing in the city. I’m excited to see what will be coming in the next few years as the valley grows!

Urban Air Adventure Park in Goodyear has a wonderful array of things to do for kids, tweens and teens to play-all indoors. A zip line is definitely one of the best features at Urban Air, but there are also trampolines, and climbing area, ninja zone and more! Check out our full review for more information.

Chuck E Cheese

I always think of Chuck E Cheese as the traditional kids place for parties. I think everyone can see the rat (mouse? ) from the 10 and know that it signifies pizza, parties and the little games that kids can play. The games are all pretty easy for kids to do and win tokens.

Elevate Trampoline Park

Elevate Trampoline Park in Goodyear has tons of trampoline pads, different obstacles for kids and a toddler court. Elevate also hosts toddler hours and during the school year and lots of great events throughout the year.

Goodyear Community Park and Splashpad

Goodyear Community

Goodyear Community Park and Splashpad is one of the largest parks and most popular parks in the area. This splashpad turns on the third Monday in April. The bathrooms are on the other side of the ball field from the playground, but the shaded playgrounds and multiple ramadas make this park very popular.

Bullard Wash Park

Estrella Vista Park North

This amazing park in Goodyear has a lovely shaded playground, climbing obstacles and a very crazy slide!

Estrella Vista Park South

Estrella Vista South

Estrella Vista Park South is one of my favorite parks, other than not having a bathroom. It does have tons of great greenspace, a basketball court and lots of lovely trees and shaded areas for kids to play!

Falcon Park Goodyear

Falcon Park Goodyear

Falcon Park in Goodyear has bathrooms (YAY) that are close to this awesome playground. This playground is good for preschoolers. There is also a toddler playground for younger children. Falcon Park is near Luke Air Force Base and you will feel the rumble of the jets as they fly by.

Loma Linda Park

Loma Linda Park is one of the coolest parks some of the neatest features! It is also near the Goodyear Pool and Community center. Unfortunately, there is no restroom at this park.

Wildflower Park North

Recently upgraded in 2018/2019, Wildflower Park North in Goodyear has one of the best swings in addition to some other super fun features. This park is really a great neighborhood park that anyone can access, but it has no bathrooms nearby.

The redone Wildflower North park is really nice! Much better for younger kids than the south park. 🙂
