We are all about indoor play places in the summer, and it’s never too soon to check out a new place-especially when we find out it has just been redone! If you are looking for a new mall to check out or want to revisit one, check out the Superstition Springs Center in Mesa!
The Superstition Springs Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Dealership helped redo the play area, and we were able to see it for the grand opening!
First there was the National Geographic Kids Club hour, which was very busy! There is always music and games and audience participation. And, if you sign your kids up you can win prizes and you are eligible for discounts to some of the stores!
We were a bit late for the Kids Club, but we took a sneak peak at the kids play area, which is nearest Wingspan Air. The Kids Club is usually held in the JCPenney court, but this week it had been in the Sears’ Court. We also found that there is a train that goes around the mall, the animals that walk around the mall, a two story carousel in the food court area, and a new Play Place (that you have to pay admission for) called Play-N-Bounce.
The Play area has a new rug, the seats were fixed, a new “Jeep” feature was added, and seating outside of the play area with plugs so mom and dad can work or plug in their phones or laptops.
You can see Giggles climbing onto the seats. They are nice and tall so you can see the whole play area.
The new play area, including the Jeep!
A nice honey bee hive to crawl in.
And a great house to play pretend in, along with a slide!
There were also quite a few ride on vehicles (coin operated) that you can play on-in our case, my kids just played on them while we waited for the grand opening ceremony!
The new play area was really nice, clean and in a mall that is still bustling and feeling alive. The turnout for the new play area was truly overwhelming-lots of support from parents who really will enjoy having this wonderful option on the East side-especially in the hot Arizona Summers!
