Sierra Montana Park

In 2017, Sierra Montana Park had an upgrade with a New Shade!

My Children and I ventured out to Sierra Montana Park a few days ago to meet up with the Mom’s Club. We had never ventured out this far yet, so I had to put on my GPS to get there. It was very easy to find and shares a parking lot with the Sierra Montana Recreational Center.

There was a very nice, covered pavilion with a picnic bench and a grill. Behind the pavilion is the shared parking lot and the recreational center. Next to the recreational center is Sunset Hills Elementary School.

This is a picture of the pavilion on the West Side of the park. Next to it was a water fountain and another grill.

IMG_2352This was the wonderful playground that my kids played at. Munchie and Giggles had a great time playing here. Although the grab bars were a bit too high for Munchie, he tried anyhow.

IMG_2353There were lots of fun slides

IMG_2347There was also a basketball court and a lot of beach volleyball courts! The kids all ran over to the volleyball court and played in the sand for a while, but we didn’t get any pictures as us moms were talking.

There are no bathrooms around the park, unless there are some in the recreation center (which I am going to check out soon. Stay tuned for the next post!)

There are restrooms in the rec center. They offer Surprise programs there like tyke gymnastics, they did offer Jazzercise there but that ended, and other kids programs like summer day camp. It’s a nice area!

Hi Megan, yes there are bathrooms at the rec center. Sometimes it has been locked though, or the people who were teaching the classes wouldn’t let us use them.Boo!!
