We always love checking out new places for the kids, and were so excited that the owner invited us to check out their new place called “My Quiet Kingdom“.
My Quiet Kingdom is a place for kids who are sensitive to noise, smells, and can be overly visually stimulated. With so many play places with loud noise and over stimulating environments, the owner wanted to come up with a place for kids to play that had a more calming atmosphere.
Located at 7575 W Peoria Ave, My Quiet Kingdom is on the southeast corner of 75th Ave and Peoria.
When you arrive, there is a check in counter and a case with a few snacks. To the right, you will find the rock room.
This room is really for exploring and touching the rocks, sorting them and playing with them (not throwing). So, if you have a child that may be a thrower or an eater, you will probably want to stay in the same room as the child.
This room has games, Lego Blocks, a chalk and magnetic board and games for kids to play.
Different games and toys.
A craft room with all types of different media-paints, crayons, glue, stickers and more. There were also aprons available as well!
Another room filled with soft chairs, books and even sign language cards which Munchie really liked!
There was also a party room (bring your own food!)
And, there was also a foam room for children who may crave a soft space to roll or play.
There were also two bathrooms as well.
These spaces were really designed to give kids who crave a different and quieter experience a place to play and relax (as well as the parents). While just a week old (as of July 2017), the owners are hoping to offer classes for customers and children as well. Make sure you follow them on Social Media and on their website for updates!
