Lights of The World Phoenix

Located at the Arizona State Fairgrounds on McDowell Rd in Central Phoenix, Parking is available right on site. (Extra cost for parking). The light show runs December 6th-February 3rd 2019. You’ll find different features of lights unlike other places, music and even activities that are included with the price of admission!

fantasyland lights of the world

Upon entering the huge castle like feature, you enter “fantasy land” where lights glow and change along with the music. There are SO many lights and the size of the light displays are really phenomenal!

My kids were enjoying dancing around in FantasyLand!

We did go on media night so the rides weren’t open, but my kids had a blast on the light-up swings. Ok, I had fun too!

There was also an amazing Christmas tree to see right by the swings, so you can also mark your spot to tell your friends where to find you!

Unfortunately, we missed the acrobatics show, but I was told they do the show either one or two times a night, but you will want to check the Lights of the World Phoenix site for Details. The show is located just inside of the “welcoming castle” to the left, and there is an area for people to stand in line to wait.

lights of the world stage

The stage and the seating is bleacher style so be prepared for that (and it is chilly at night). Also, notable to mention that bathrooms are only port-o-potty, so come with wipes and hand sanitizers!

capitol building

Other notable features were a capital building (those shadows are my kiddos!). I had to take the picture from 50 plus feet away, so this is a very sizeable light display!

santa lights of the world phoenix

Santa was even there, at least in lights!

Dinosaurs at lights of the world Phoenix

There were even dinosaurs in lights and Robotic dinosaurs too!

Food is available for purchase, and there is a small selection of fair food, which may rotate!

Lights of the World Phoenix had a lot to see and offer for the whole family. Discount admission is offered at Food City Locations at on as well. (2018-2019 season). My kids had a blast with the music and fun. Even the performers of the acrobatics shows were playing with my kids during the media day which was pretty cute, and made it pretty special for our family!

Acrobats are December 6-Jan7- 2019, Sea Lion Show Jan 8-February 3 2019

This was definitely a different light show than you can see elsewhere in the valley!
