A FEW THINGS TO NOTE:Trunk-or-Treat @ a Distance will be a one-way walking event this year with the cars spaced out throughout our parking lot.

Event entrance will be on the south side of the church/preschool parking lot closest to Mountain View Rd.

HOW CAN YOU HELP MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS?:Decorate a Trunk (volunteer form HERE)– We are always looking for creative volunteers to decorate their trunks. It is always a fun-filled and rewarding night!

  • Happy Halloween! 2020 has been a very different year, so lets do something different for Halloween. Meetup spot will be at the parking lot of Chileens at 3pm off of I17 in Black canyon city. Exit 244. From there, we will head up north to chino valley and run Perkinsville road from Chino Valley, along the old railroad route, to Jerome. The trail is suitable for stock height suvs and trucks. Once we hit the upper parking area in jerome, we will set up a trunk or treat for the kids. Just to be covid happy, we will have everyone set up every other parking spot. Afterwards, we will parade through town and back down to phoenix. WE will have a drawing of some sort for the best costume, as well as the best decorated vehicle. Stock height trucks and suvs will be fine, and the trail will be 2wd truck/suv friendly.

The North Scottsdale United Methodist Church is hosting its 22nd annual Trunk or Treat from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st in the N.S.U.M.C. parking lot located at 11735 North Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.Even during the pandemic season, N.S.U.M.C. would like to make the holidays festive for the children in the community. This event will provide an opportunity for our neighbors to enjoy a free, COVID-safe and friendly trick or treating experience. All families are invited to DRIV-THRU the NSUMC parking lot beginning at 4pm. The passengers will be able to catch sight of the festive holiday trunks and friendly costumes.   • Drive your car through and trunk or treat for candy while participating in a few minimal-contact activities. We want to provide a family-safe environment with minimal risk, so we will have many safety protocols in place throughout the night. Be prepared to participate in a Family Challenge while you wait in your car. Free hot dogs, donuts, and cider will be served with everyone’s health and safety in mind.

From hair-raising activities and daring demos, celebrate Halloween with mystery, costumes, smashingly fun science and more! Then put your STEM skills to the test and engage in science-related challenges to solve the day’s mystery with an adventure in forensic science.

All activities are included FREE with an Arizona Science Center Membership or the purchase of a self-guided experience ticket. Kids under 3 are always FREE.

Drive Thru Boo Bash-Park West-9744 W Northern Ave

  • Saturday, October 31st 6pm-8pm
  • Park West will donate $1 for every car that drives through to St. Mary’s Food Bank
  • During the event, guests can enjoy Halloween vignettes and musical entertainment at specific areas along the route. Halloween characters will be positioned at designated areas for families to take pictures with, and drivers can tune in to a specific FM radio frequency to enjoy event narration as well as spook-tacular tunes.
