Eastmark Splashpad

When we visited the Eastmark Playground, we didn’t realize that the Eastmark Splashpad was right behind the visitor center. It is kind of hidden away and is near the HOA’s pool, so it is not that easy to find. However, the Eastmark Splashpad is open to the public!

The splashpad lies behind the welcome center at the intersection of East Ray Road and Eastmark Parkway. The welcome center will probably is your best bet for bathrooms, but I didn’t see any other restrooms nearby. Parking is in front of the welcome center and is a huge lot.

The welcome center is a large building and also has access to the pool. I believe that after all of the new homes are finished, the welcome center will become a community center of some type.

Outside of the welcome center was a cute little lending library.

This cute lending library was by honor system. Take a book and leave a book. The children’s book area was empty, but the adult book nook was packed full of books.

The Splashpad

The Handlebar diner is on site as well, with little benches and pull up stools. It is kind of like a non moving food truck. Find out more about the Handlebar diner on their site!

The splashpad was a very basic pad with sprayers from the bottom. We had a few other stops on our way, so my kids didn’t get to go in and play. But, there were many different sprayers and the water sprayed in different directions. There were also shade sails over the pad as well. Seating wasn’t available directly around the splashpad, so you may want to bring your own. The great thing about the Eastmark Splashpad was there is a fence around it. However, the rest of the Eastmark Great Park playground is a pretty far walk from the splashpad. You can find bathrooms as well, but the welcome center may be your best bet if you need an emergency potty visit.
