When you are doing a long day in a city that is on the other side of the valley, you make the most of the entire day and hit up a few parks, such as Comanche Park in Scottsdale!
Comanche Park is located just minutes away from OdySea and Talking Stick, so it was super convenient!
Comanche Park, Shoshone Park and Zuni Park all have similar playgrounds and large green spaces. However, Comanche Park had a lot of walking trails that ventured into the neighborhoods.
Lots of walking trails with the little fitness tests!
You could jog, walk, and find places to test your strength and agility. There were signs at ever different stop with sample exercises.
Basketball courts with a little bit of lighting. And Comanche Park had so many, many big pine trees. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the grass was not green (overseeded) in the winter.
However, there were some areas that were green. Giggles had fun collecting and redistributing pine cones on our walk.
There was a small playground with swings, a slide and a little digger. There was a LOT of sand, but it was kind of a boring little playground.
While this park lacked in Playground Space, it really made up for in beautiful pine trees, shade and a lovely sidewalk trail.
There were a few people walking their dogs, and someone playing tennis. Otherwise, this was a great park for older kids and a parent that might want to walk or jog, or play tennis or basketball.
Zuni Park and Shoshone Park were similar to Comanche park with their playgrounds, but were smaller in size and only had greenspace and small walking trails.
