Christy Cove Park-Phoenix

Christy Cove Park in Phoenix is located near Dreamy Draw Recreation and is a beautiful area! It is a quieter area, and be careful as you drive to the park. On 24th Street, on the way to the park, there is a “traffic quieting” area. Pretty much curbs in the middle of the road to make you swerve left and right suddenly to slow you down! Be careful!

Christy Cove Park is a beautiful park, but there are NO restroom facilities. Luckily, there is a Bashas located about a mile away, so we did hop in there to use the bathroom. That is also a great place to get a snack too.

This park has off street parking, which is always great for moms of little ones.

Zipline

The highlight of this park is definitely the zipline. I was told that sometimes the zipline is not always working, but it is SUPER fun. However, the zipline doesn’t make it all the way across, so it is good to have a partner to help out. And, the ramp is super steep!

Playground

A Nice little toddler area with a slide and the funky ball climbers and “mountain climber” was available for toddlers. With woodchips.

A Huge tower was available for the big kids with a huge slide!

Two big kid swings and two baby swings also were together right near the playground.

Older wood benches dotted a pavilion area, which was great for kids who wanted to bring skates, razor scooters or remote control cars. A basketball court and a sand volleyball court area was available for older kids and adults. Unfortunately, like previously state, no bathrooms!!

Two exercise machines were available too. Shading was minimal but there were some trees. We did visit in January, so many leaves were not on trees and it was very cool.

This was a very lovely park and pretty quiet! Pretty flat considering the surrounding area is hilly and beautiful. It is a must see on our list, especially because of the zipline!
