Cruise Zoolights Presented by SRP- starting Thursday November 12th

The Valley’s most cherished holiday tradition, ZooLights presented by SRP, is back with millions of twinkling lights, dazzling animal sculptures and our Wildlife Lantern Safari, featuring 66 creatures — polar bears, mammoths, peacocks and more, all aglow.And this year, there’s a NEW way to feel the magic. Cruise ZooLights, the drive-thru experience that is not to be missed!For the first time in the history of the Phoenix Zoo, experience millions of twinkling lights and dazzling animal sculptures from the comfort of your own vehicle.
Price Per Vehicle: $60 (members) and $75 (general)Tickets and add-ons must be pre-purchased online in advance including food, beverage, photo and some retail options. Items in the Cruise Gift shop may be purchased onsite. All tickets are subject to availability and date specific. Tickets will be available for sale online if not at capacity.
Cruise tickets are first come, first served beginning at 5:30 p.m. Last ticket sold at 9 p.m. online and last car in line at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are non-replaceable and non-refundable. The Downtown Chandler Community Partnership is celebrating the holiday season with “Sugarland”, a brand-new interactive display of holiday decorations for downtown visitors to safely enjoy in Dr. A.J. Chandler Park West from Saturday, November 28 – Sunday, January 3.Snap a selfie in the candy sleigh next to the famous Tumbleweed Tree, slide down the fruit roll up slide, climb over giant marshmallows spilling out a life-size cup of hot chocolate and dance through the candy canes any time of the day or night, allowing for social distancing.At night the display showcases “Sugarland’s Canal of Lights”, a beautiful walkway over the Commonwealth Canal on Commonwealth Avenue with colorful lights timed to dance holiday music.Be sure to tag us @DowntownChandler in your photos this holiday season!

Merry Main Street-20 E Main Street Mesa

For the sixth consecutive year, Merry Main Street will bring holiday revelry to downtown Mesa. The spectacular celebration of the season will be held Nov. 27 through Jan. 2.Mesa’s Christmas Tree will be glowing each night of Merry Main Street. The nearly four-story tall tree will once again be located on Macdonald at Main Street.Merry Main Street will again feature the Winter Wonderland Ice Rink with more than 5,000 square feet that will attract skaters taking to the ice under the stars. This year, to provide a safe and healthy environment for all patrons, tickets must be pre-purchased for a specific day and time.

There will be a maximum of 50 skaters at one time. The area around the ice rink will be adorned with vintage holiday decorations not used in downtown Mesa since 1967.Santa’s sELFie Village returns along with free visits from Santa himself. Holiday Lights McCormick Stillman Railroad-November 27th-January 3rd

  • Limited capactiy one hour blocks at 6pm-7:15pm and 8:30pm

  • Families will have the opportunity to sign up for an hours worth of Christmas fun!
  • They will first meet with Santa, get their pictures taken with him and do a craft.
  • They will then ride our Christmas train to a Jolly Elf’s home for cookie decorating and listening to the Christmas story.
  • Last, they will get some hot chocolate and go for a hay-bail ride. During their ride they will learn some carols and then stop to sing carols and spread holiday cheer!

  • We only have limited slots and they will fill up fast!
  • The printed pictures and crafts will be assembled and delivered within 1-2 weeks of the event.

26th Annual Christmas Parade of Light in the Round-Wickenburg Community Center 160 N Valentine St Wickenburg

  • Friday December 11th at 6pm

With safety guidelines in place, spectators will have two opportunities to view the parade entries. From 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., visitors with masks may enter and walk through the staged entries, exiting the area by 6:45 p.m. From 7:00 p.m., the public can drive their own cars through the parade loop and listen to a special festive live broadcast from 96.3 KSWG.This glittering holiday event is sponsored by the Town of Wickenburg and the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce.Visitors are encouraged to shop and eat with local businesses before or after the event. The Hassayampa Boardwalk will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for some additional holiday fun! We also encourage visitors to drive through neighborhoods to see Christmas lights. Drive in Movie-Elf Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds-1590 E Lost Dutchman Blvd

  • Come out and enjoy a nice evening outside watching a family movie. We will be getting into the Holiday Spirit for our December movies! The December 12th Drive-In Movie Presented by SRP will be bringing “Elf” (movie subject to change based on licensing availability) to the big screen at the AJ Rodeo Grounds Event Center. PRE-REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS REQUIRED!
  • The event is $5 per vehicle and space is limited! Social Distancing guidelines will be in place for the movie. The movie will start at 6:00pm and gates will open at 5:30pm.
  • The City of Apache Junction Parks & Rec will host this event at the Rodeo Grounds Event Center at 1590 E. Lost Dutchman Blvd. Apache Junction, AZ 85119. In the event of bad weather or high winds prior to movie time, this program could possibly be cancelled or moved to a future date.
  • If the event has to be cancelled, there will be no refunds, however, customers would receive a $5 credit on their account.

First Baptist Church Chandler is excited to continue sharing the true meaning of Christmas with our community this year with a 2020 twist! We invite you to join us and experience the miracle of the first Christmas and Live Nativity “Drive-in movie style” on Dec. 18, 19 or 20th.As you enter the line of cars, you will be serenaded by puppets singing, or carolers caroling. You will also be greeted by Roman Guards, and folks traveling to Bethlehem. As you enter the Drive-In area, you will be guided to your spot by parking attendants, and there you will watch the Blessed Christmas story and Nativity come to life. Afterwards, as you exit the Live Nativity, we would like to thank you for coming, by giving you a gift from us!So load up the car with family and friends, bring some blankets and snacks like you would at a drive-in movie and make some Christmas memories with us!The first presentation will begin at 6:00 with additional performances until the last one which will begin around 8:30. Come early for a good place in line!

Holiday 5K/Kids Race- Arizona Falls 5802 E Indian School Rd Phoenix

Run the “Holiday 5K/Kids Run”, to benefit the Marines Toys for Tots program! It’s a fun, family run/walk on a beautiful Saturday morning, all ages and ability levels are welcome!We are building a donation for Toys for Tots in the local Phoenix area. (But we ARE NOT collecting toys). You can request a toy or donate directly at Phoenix Toys for Tots https://phoenix-az.toysfortots.org/…/lco…/Default.aspx..All participants receive a custom Holiday finisher medal AND matching lapel pin!. No packet pickup is necessary. Race day check in starts from 7:30 – 8:45 am. The 5K race is scheduled to start at 9:00 am, so please arrive early! The race is chip timed with age group awards in 14 categories and includes a free raffle drawing. Water, Gatorade, snacks and popsicles will be provided.

The flat canal course is located at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018 with overflow parking located at the Lutheran church, just North of the park off 56th Street.Kids 1 Mile Run (16 and under): Arrive between 9 – 9:45 am for check in. Start time will be 10 am. Kids may run 1 mile or less to earn their Holiday finisher medal and special treat at the finish. (No timing or awards)Virtual option: If you can’t make the date, you may run your race virtually on any day, time or course that you choose. Simply report back your finishing time on RunYourRaceAZ.com. Race packets will be mailed during race week, if not available sooner. (The Virtual option IS NOT available for the Kids race).Our events are both dog and stroller friendly, but the course does include a short trail section that is not on pavement.

North Scottsdale United Methodist Church is hosting a LIVE NATIVITY DRIVE-THRU from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19th in the N.S.U.M.C. parking lot located at 11735 North Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. The event is free and open to the public.N.S.U.M.C. would like to help make the holidays sparkle for the children and the community by hosting a Live Nativity Drive-Thru. This event will provide an opportunity for our neighbors to enjoy a free, COVID-safe and friendly Christmas Season experience. All families are invited to DRIVE-THRU the NSUMC parking lot beginning at 7:00pm.

The passengers will be able to gaze on the festive holiday lights and a live nativity setting. After driving past the lights and the nativity scene, each vehicle will be given one Advent gift box before the exit the parking lot onto Scottsdale Road. NSUMC is offering Advent gift boxes to the first 100 vehicles. The live Nativity scene will include: Live actors (Mary, Joseph, Shepherd, and Wise men)
-Live animals in the nativity scene
-Vehicles are invited to turn in to KLOVE or KEZ radio station to listen to Christmas music as they DRIVE-THRU
-Please enter from Jenan Drive & DRIVE-THRU the N.S.U.M.C. parking lot to view the nativity. The set will be located on the main patio.
